The best advice I can give is to never let your dreams die. Keep practicing at whatever it is you'd like to master and study the world around you. Analyzing all aspects of life are your keys to successfully manipulating and creating; whether it's animation, painting or writing.

I recommend following her. She really seems to know her stuff though she kind of has issues against certain published authors I've noticed. Sour grapes maybe? i shouldn't judge I guess. I refer back to her tips fairly often. I really find it helps me from makign a lot of rookie mistakes and I'm getting better at creating characters that are more realistic and less like mary sues but it's hard going. It isn't easy to make interesting characters that aren't just an extension of myself. bleh...
Oh...sorry for rambling at you. I'm still getting familiar with DeviantART. XD So..uh...yeah...no one else to talk to.
I thought of commenting on your art. It looks pretty interesting but I'd be afraid to offend. I'm not an artist so I dont' like to tell peopel how to do their work. xD oh well...I should leave you alone now. bye.
