we were all noobs once, dont worry. but uploading an avatar is easy. go into ur settings, and click the change avatar button. then you can upload any picture you want, even gifs like mine here, and adjust how much of it actually shows up. or, you can click use webcam and take a pic of urself right there for ur icon
