Jack raised a brow. “You’re right that is weird.” He chuckled.
“Well we can see if it means we’ll have a weird day today! Come on, we have to go train.” Jack said putting Kayla’s royal guard armour on the bed for her.

“I’ll be outside.” Jack smiled as he left the room to give her privacy.

When she walked out she heard a voice talking with Jack around the corner.

“Don’t act dumb. How could you not know what it was like to have your soul taken from you?” The voice scolded.

“Well to be honest it was like sleeping...” Jack said a bit nervously.

“Ugh, you’re hopeless. I don’t even know why I came back to this kingdom. No one is bright.” The voice sighed in annoyance.

She walked around the corner and saw a tall man standing over Jack and was writing in a book. He wore glasses and has long black hair that was tied in a ponytail. He had long robes that were a dark blue. He looked at Kayla.

"You must be Kayla. I heard you were the one who helped take down Nightshade Grimsby." The man said walking to her and extending a hand professionally. "My name is Amon Crescent. I'm taking the place of Royal wizard here at the castle."

They got to the training ground and saw Ferdinand there. He raised a brow. "You two are late." He said sternly.

"Yeah sorry... We were just talking to the new royal wizard!" Jack chuckled nervously.

"New Wizard... Amon right?" Ferdinand rolled his eyes. "He's from the Mystic isles across the way. All the Wizards over there are very snobby." Ferdinand sighed.
