Well we promised to do something "astonishing" and I think we've succeeded! I love the colors and the special effects that enhance the piece - that real raw energy coming from Klen - and I love to think what the Nova guys will think when this one debuts!

My thanks to you Diego and you Israel for this brilliant cover! Team Huertas rules! Lets hope we'll get together soon! Daz.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL UPDATE!

The script is 99% done for the first Nova619 Christmas special. It should be ready for end of July.

To give you a hint - while all my stuff so far has been a bit grim and serious..this will be a change of pace. Emphasis on fun, family and how Kree put up Christmas Trees!

For a change as its Ally's first Nova619 contribution - I've given her the choice to choose which artists will prospectively draw which page/section. So below is the list of who is assigned to do which page/s at the moment:

I'll be sending out the script by end of month but in the meantime do note me/ e.mail to let me know if you are happy with your allocation.

Some of you have 2 pages - but if you want to do just 1 page only I have put myself down as reserve pencils.

Additionally I'll be doing inks for anyone who wants to contribute pencils only for the Christmas episode while working on other episodes at the moment - but if you do want to do inks too - do let me know!

I'll also need to clarify for colorists - so Bill, Diego- etc ...let me know how much you'd like to do!

The deadline for this will be mid November - with option to get it done online up before the Christmas holiday! Hope this okay.

Few other items - If everyone is okay with this - I'm going to start the schedule for the first 2012 episode release of Nova619 from end of March - starting with the Gamora story which I envision will cover from March to June 2012 with No Place Like Home taking up the rest of next year.

The latter of course will feature the debut of Dark Nova and I know some of you are at the starting post wanting to do a few sketches of this evil Centurion! I'm planning to run the competition during August to mid September. I'm working out the details of the character from my notes at the moment.

However for those into new character designs - there are three additional ones to choose from - not in the competition I may add but if you'd like to submit some sketches - love to see them!

They are for: Kree Un-idential Twins Ar-Cher and Ar-Mann - Pilot of the UDI shuttle the Trueman. As they make their debut in the Christmas story - I asked Ally to give a suggestion to what they could look like so here's a guide to follow:

Ar-Cher - fastidious tidy type, maybe with straight short cut hair. Abut 6ft tall. Slim.

Ar-Maan - not fastidious, longish unkept wavy hair, maybe clothes that are a little bed-ragged, not sloppy but uncaring for appearances. Slightly taller. More muscular. Like Lobo out of DC Comics!

Added to that for the NPLH story - the introduction of the Monophages! These monstrous metallic, bio organic aliens are the servants of Nova619's big bad. They're nasty - and what they "do" is -well if you like horror films you've love what they do.It ain't nice. If you want more info - just note me.

I've come up with doing a Nova619 competition to give a lucky Nova fan an opportunity to design the sketch for the new major enemy for 2012's run....Promethian aka Dark Nova619!

The winner's sketch would be rendered by one/more of the team members as a prize - with full credit given to the winner when Promethian appears in No Place Like Home.

If you're okay with this...let me know asap.

2) Christmas story is nearly done. I should have the final version in the next day or so. As I'd like to get this one drawn by end of November - Ionysis is doing the 3D cover for it! I'll be sending out those presently listed to do art the script by end of this month.

Page/Pages will be allocated on a first come basis - or I can do that for you so you don't know what you're each getting!! All I'll say its a nice Christmas story - bit different from what done so far...lots of fun for once!! And the sequence with the Christmas Tree is hillarious!!!

Hi Diego! Thanks very much for joining Nova Prime and your note! It was a pleasure having you do the colors for the latest episode of Nova619 which is now up in completed form at the group today! Link at the bottom!

I really fainted over the work you did - and wished I had Photoshop---I have to contend with Corel Photopaint but at the end what you did over Israel's pencils and my inks....it was as your brother said astonishing work!

I've enjoyed working with Israel immensely as I do with all the team so very much looking forward to future colaborations!

There are slots later down the road for the rest of the year and we're planning things ahead for 2012 so there's more stuff for Israel and yourself! Check our schedules and if you want to reserve a slot for a future episode let me know!
