There was a little box sitting under the tree with Kip's name written on it in glittery pink pen. Jae's name was nowhere on there, but. Well. This is the first time he's really given a gift. By "that", I had meant something more along the lines of "you've figured out I had to leave to sort out things to do with my job, have you?"
And yes, they do that. My position is, however, a bit.. lesser. There's been a recent--I say recent but it isn't quite recent--a political upheaval of sorts, you see. I don't get to do quite as much as I used to. A change in the system, you understand.

Kip took the note and scoffed. Whoever left her the note sure was stupid. She had thought everyone knew she couldn't read. Unless she absolutely focused. Staring at the paper for a few minutes she started trying to sound the words out.
