Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! Β
This past year was hectic with a big move cross-country and discovering that my artwork was being sold illegally online (which resulted in months of me filling out report forms all over the web), but I'm looking forward to getting back on track and working on my personal projects.Β My main resolution is to draw almost daily again and to keep improving!Β
Once again, thank you!

I love playing with vibrant hues and color theory in my own work. It definitely lends itself to the fanciful and otherworldly characters I creatures I hope to bring to life.
Thank you so much!

The last few months have been busy due to upcoming conventions and a cross-country move, but hopefully when things settle down I'll be able to finish more pieces! Thank you so much for your comment!

You have a wonderful gallery! I recognized Elaryn right away while browsing (My husband is a big fan of your campaign via YouTube)

Thank you so much! I'm glad your husband has enjoyed our series, and am so sorry the campaign likely won't be continuing unless Wander and I make an animatic 'what would have happened' finale or play out the rest of it with just Elaryn and Skitter. Unlike some of my past D&D characters (who were always very serious), I absolutely loved portraying Elaryn. She's essentially a more bubbly version of myself.
Wander and I are looking forward to starting up new campaigns in the future, for which I'll definitely illustrate character portraits/paintings and participate in them as either a player or the GM/DM. Crafting my own characters and the worlds they inhabit as a child definitely served as an inspiration for me to become an artist in the first place, and it's great to see so many people becoming involved in tabletop roleplaying games that encourage worldbuilding and their own creativity!
Once again, thank you!

Seriously love your art style it's very unique. The colors really pop, which explains how I easily stumbled upon it. Keep it up! It's motivating me to try digital art.Β Β
Also Happy late BirthdayΒ Β

Thank you so much! I was solely a black and white pencil/pen user up until I went to college and started to dabble in digital illustration. It's taken a while for me to learn how to use color in a new medium, but needless to say I've been loving it and learning more with each piece!
One tip for bright colors is to use hue as well as value to shift from light to dark or visa versa. It makes color-mixing resemble a rainbow!
Once again, thank you!
edit- typo!

Hello there. I'm a big fan of your work, both as an artist and on youtube, but I am an incredible fan of your Clyssus universe. The ideas and skill behind each piece I find amazing. I was hoping if I could ask some questions about Clyssus to gain a better understanding of a few different aspects of it if you wouldn't mind.

KeeperofAges In reply to Peculiar-Scarecrow [2019-01-03 00:50:39 +0000 UTC]
Thank you for reaching out! I remember you asking questions on my various pieces about the world/story I have been developing before.Β
Unfortunately, last year I experienced a wrist injury that prevented me from drawing as much as I would like. This temporarily stalled my plans to start a finalized series of concept paintings for 'Clyssus' accompanied by lore. I still have been worldbuilding in my notebooks and sketchbooks, but had to let my wrist recover before painting again in earnest.
This year it is definitely my top priority to get back to working on my projects, chiefly Clyssus. However, I would prefer to release information about my characters/universe at my own pace alongside my illustrations. Much of it is still evolving, so what I do create and post publicly will likely be the more concrete aspects of what will appear in my universe.
Once again, thank you!

Hey. I plan on playing pathfinder soon and I wish to have a pic of what my character would look like. Do u take requests for art projects?
π: 0 β©: 1
KeeperofAges In reply to roseus-serpens [2018-03-12 04:22:19 +0000 UTC]
I don't take requests, but plan on accepting commissions later this year. My drawing hand's wrist has been experiencing tendonitis for the past few months and my doctor says I need it in a brace and strengthened with physical therapy in order to work with it again like I used to. Hopefully it'll heal soon!

Ok. Thank you for you time. Hope it heals well. Btw I think your character is the only semi-sane one on grave of man so far. I'm on the episode that skitter almost leaves.

Oh! Thank you! I'm glad you've been watching our D&D series. I always prefer the roleplay/lore aspects of d20 games to combat. Sometimes players can get too wrapped up in progressing through areas and slaying monsters and neglect the motivations of NPCs and treating one another as persons with emotions.
Aside from convincing Skitter to stay with the group, I was in another situation in a campaign Wander's brother was DMing where an npc anti-hero was contemplating killing the party for saving an amnesiatic man she had a vendetta against. My character (Serai the draconic sorceress) made a long speech about how the man was unaware of his past transgressions against her and would better serve the world by fighting for her/our cause to atone for his forgotten crimes. I also appealed to the fact that we were both outcasts (she a tiefling and myself part dragon) and that to act with aggression would only perpetuate the negative perceptions of our kind. She agreed, and after the fact Wander's brother said she could have easily wiped the party if I had not presented a good argument in the NPCs defense.
It's situations like these that make me love RPGs. Thank you again, and I hope you enjoy your campaign!

I'm not in a campain yet. I'm trying to learn pathfinder (a branch of d&d 3.5) and my character is an elf cleric who worships the goddess pharasma. The goddess pharasma is the goddes of life, death, and prophecy. She sees undead as a mockery because once a person dies they should stay deceased. Mothers keep tokens of pharasma around when they give birth, and when someone dies usually a cleric of pharasma performs the burial rights. My character is essentially a traveling preist performing pharasmas rights where they are required, and slaying undead where they are found.

Thank you! 2018 is very busy so far! I'm in convention prep-mode working on finishing new prints, buttons, etc. I have never done custom art trades (only merch trades at art shows), but do plan on opening commissions by the spring or summer. Thank you for asking!
