I understood Inktober as more of a skill test with the goal being to draw something every day. Too late for that.

I've actually been thinking about it for quite some time now. I even have a general idea of what it'll look like. Really, I just want to get better at art before I try putting it on paper.

I was kinda the same, but with just art in general; I previously had wanted my art to look 'decent' before actually making a DA account and made my art public xD

Mhm... I feel the same about most of what I want to make; I don't yet have the skill to make everything work right. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to avoid this sentiment when I first started. I didn't really think of myself as an artist at the time, so I was comfortable enough to just... go for it. I'm glad it happened like this, 'cause if I took myself seriously the whole way through, I'd never get past those terrible first drawings.
