I will as I know more...Basically the friend who's mom I'm staying with is moving out in may. So...we're going to move out asap so as to not live with just...his mom. But Ikasu is in June...and I can't move out till July I guess. So I'll prolly still be coming to con. Like I said, it's been a very confusing, up and down sort of week.

Oh! I also wanted to know if you'd ever be interested in doing a photoshoot with me? I have a DSLR camera and I do a lot of doll photography but have been wanting to expand into cosplay photography. I don't ever have much of a chance to do it because I'm normally part of the cosplay group. ^^'

Lol, yeah, I did some digging around, too, but because everyone has their real names on the tables, and most artists are using pen names...there are few I actually know who they are XD I'm at 14 (though I'll be upping to a full table when I get there, since half is free and my first pay check comes in today), and I know that 12 is =lilly-peacecraft and I think 13 is ~kuroitenshi13 ....and I might, possible, know who 8 is XD Based on that name, and the area, I'm thinking it's *WiL-Woods (he is set to be at Crossroads, too)

Well, I'm the only one who uses the paypal and have for the past 7 years... I just don't know how to change the name. 9___9' And I've done so much on that paypal that I don't want to make a new one. Beeeh.

I really liked the set-up of the AA they had before they over-sold it. ;o; Seems like there's a ton of artists though. Hopefully that'll be a good testament to the attendance as well!

LOL! I don't know how to do that, never thought about that XD I got my Paypal account as soon as I got my own bank account, but I just hocked my mother's til then XD It would be such a pain to make a new one! I don't blame you!

I never actually saw the set-up prior to it, lol. I glanced over it cursorily but not really examined it. But, since the con is tomorrow, I gave this one a good run thorugh the layout isn't exactly horrible, but I am worried about how many people will actually go through ALL of the alley, due to the set-up. I don't know what's around it, so there may be things on both sides to visit X3 I don't know what to expect from this con at all, but I'm looking forward to it~

The previous set up had the tables all set around the edge so there was a giant walk-way down the middle which seemed more preferable.

That's what I'm mainly worried about. Looking at the photo of the atrium where it'll be on the Marriott site shows rooms on either side so hopefully that'll help the traffic go through.

I've had a few reservations about this convention for a few reasons but I'm still hoping it goes okay. It would be nice to have another anime convention in Indiana, especially in Indy.

Ah, that does sound a lot more preferrable, but I suppose it can't be helped. Let's just hope it all works out

AH, yeah...well, the plus side is that since the AA is so small, even with all of these tables, people will be more likely to go through it all X3

well, I've noticed that Indiana cons in general seem to...flop...been to Ckon, and Ikasucon, but both of thos weren't so good...but, it's definitely nice to have an Indiana con again~ Of course, ACen is still closer to me, but that's IL, lmao XD The anime club I'm a part of, IndiAnime, was talking bout potentially making a con in Merrillville, IN, but we were waiting to see the progress of the convention center up here. It will probably never happen though XD Indy is like 2.5 hours away from me, plus I lose an hour on the way there (we are in Indiana, yet on Central Timezone, lol)

I went to the hotel tonight to get signed in and it looks really nice! My table is actually facing the dealer's room so it's pretty nice. 8D My group also all got our badges which is awesome. No lines!

Actually... I LOVE Ikasucon. Out of the 30 conventions I've been to so far (Crossroads is my 31st) it's my favourite by far. The staff is so nice and the people I've met there are so amazing and remain to be great friends. Not to mention it's a nice size where you can still meet people but I don't get horribly bored and it's not too many people that it's horribly crowded. I haven't been to Acen in about 2 years because it's just gotten way too big for where it is. I went from 02-05 (then again in 07 which was one of the worst cons I've ever been to) and those years were nice because it was just the right size.

C-kon was good too... aside from it failing horribly. ^^';;; It had potential at least! I've missed a local Indy con though... hopefully Crossroads will succeed!

haha, well, I obviously saw you XD it was a nice set-up for AA~

I went to Ikasucan the first year it came to Fort Wayne and it was just..awful. I had fun, but there were problems with our panel, and our badges, and even our AA table >.> I hated it. After talking to several people at Crossroads, we ARE thinking bout trying to go back. YoumaCon is my alltime fave con I think my con number is up to like 60+ i dunno, never counted lmao XD I will agree ACen is getting huuuge, but I still love it XD plus, it's the closest con to me. I like like an hour away from it, lol. I like cons that are bigger than Crossroads, but cons smaller are the best XD though, Otakon is really fun, despite it's size~

Crossroads had some issues, but overall they didn't do too bad.

I always recommend Ikasu to people NOT wanting to sell in the AA. I've only ever heard bad things about Ikasu from people who try to sell in the AA or dealer's room. As a normal attendee I really love it.

Crossroads was a lot better than I expected it to be. I'm glad it turned out well. :] I have yet to go to Youma but I really want to! This next year I'm going to try and pump up my con-going so hopefully it'll be one I hit.

After seeing you at Crossroads I realized I've seen you at a ton of cons I've been to. ^^' Were you in an Inu Yasha group at Acen 2002/2003? Because if so then I've seen you and your group around a lot.
