Well, I clean them with photoshop, otherwise the whites would be pretty messy.. I still cant make clear, smooth outlines like the pros...

You have some great drawing yourself and definitely much better than the things I drew when I was 13. You should try drawing some original characters

only pencil / mechanical pencil for the drawings and photoshop for the cleaning / effects.
