My favorite Mondrian piece has to be 1936's [link] ">Vertical Composition with Blue and White.
However, I too am a fan of the Broadway Boogie Woogie , I think it is probably one of his most expressive pieces. And also one of the oddest. In most of his compostional work, he is attempting to divorce reality from his art, but in this one, he embraces reality with all of its beauty and tragedy in incorperating what he knew of New York City into his design. It is an interesting piece.
