just to ask you...when did you start doing some drawing?...it seems like you have been doing this for quite a lot of times, just the fact that all of your work are quite good as mine...I started doing some drawing since i was 5...well i don't know...can you please tell me what type and brand name of paper are you using...???

Oh, I started drawing at a very early age as I remember. But I started drawing specifically portraits in December 2010.
I wish I knew what paper I'm using! xD I think it's name is Dipa. It's thicker than that copy paper. And I also use tissues, and a pencil that's called paper stump.

Yes I am sure, I am the same way with anything new. I am sued to drawing faces and more faces so when I am confronted with something like that I freak out and do a bad job haha
But I finish the drawing with having learned something new. You did a nice job though for your first try at it though (:

Ha, I'm doing the same all the time. xD That's why I try to look for 'easier' reference photos. I'm not learning too much from these, but it helps to master techniques. I only draw 'new' things when I'm confident enough. (: And thank you again!

I look for new challenges with every drawing so I can mess up a lot and want to get better. It really doesn't make much sense when you think about it but that's how I work haha
