In my opinion. You're the best artist on DA! I mean it. I really love your work. It's shocking and beyond surreal. I always thought I had one of the oddest minds, but you sir, you top the cake. You obviously aren't here to be popular, but I think you deserve a lot more attention.

hmm, so is it more of a just presenting for online pictures kind of tool, like correcting what a scanner doesn't get, or do you consider your originals the finished piece?

No--the work I do in photoshop is an integral part of the image. The finished piece is actually the computer file and it's printout. I'm starting to get back to painting and drawing without the computer again--I've kind of come full circle I guess.

Thanks very much. That's a hard question to answer. I use photoshop primarily to heighten tonal contrasts in black and white pieces and to add collaged background elements. I guess I'm finished when I like what the piece looks like.
