I look at him as an equal, potential lies in the hearts of all who wish to call themselves artists. We all just have to find our niche and discover something we are passionate about. Whether it be art tools or stories.

I beg to differ. Your style just doesn't seem to lead into a manga style. I won't differ you from trying, that's how you learn. But the best things to do would be to start by tracing things and then trying to draw them on your own. That's how alot of people learn.
