Sure. Just an FYI; I drive Semi and sometimes my downtime is limited to the weekends. I will help just know that it may take a while for me to get back to you sometimes.

Beautiful story, and other than a few grammar things very well written.

Biggest thing is the difference of than and then.

Also for future reference don't give away a how a loved one left just acknowledge their absence and then build up to a big reveal at the end. Keeping a reader guessing until the very end is a powerful tool for a writer.
