For mine, I spray painted craftfoam and set resin casting for the blue jewels. And used velcro and hot glue to keep it all together. D:
And the mittens are pretty easy and straightforward to make sooooo xD

Aw! Thank you! I'm really nervous and excited about this costume as it'll be my first time actually sewing and making a costume. I just failed at styling my first Tsuna wig. Lol. It was actually because the wig was too thin to be styled all spikey so now I have to buy a different one that will hopefully work better.
I think the gloves with actually be the hardest part. So, thanks for telling me how you made them. I was honestly thinking of getting 2 pair of gloves and sewing them together to make the X-Gloves. Not completely sure how I as going to do that yet, but I'm still thinking it out...lol.

Aw. You should totally do it. I've only had a few pictures taken of me but I loved it. I'm not a very good cosplayer though since I'm just starting out. I actually love taking pictures of cosplayers too.

If you really want to be a very effective/believable cosplayer, the right costume, wig, props (especially), poses are a must. Facial expressions create big impact too!
You have to be "the" character itself, I suggest you do a lot of research especially if you are going to have a photoshoot, researching for screencaps and the anime's characters and watching the anime (or even reading the manga) will definitely be of help :3

I'm planning to cosplay Tsuna. I've seen all the anime and read all the manga. I'm behind on the Naruto and Bleach anime's too, but I'm caught up on the manga of both.

I almost always read the manga for the anime that I watch, especially when the manga and anime are still on going. The manga is usually further along in the story.
I'm cosplaying with a group of friends. There aren't many of us like 4 or 5 I think. Mainly I'm cosplay with a friend of mine. We've been planning these costumes out for a couple months.
Main props for Tsuna are his gloves. I think those are going to be the hardest for me to do.
