You = already qualified as a favourite artist because of two things,
1: A friendly person to newcomers.
2: Nice deviations.
I mean it, I got inspired by your work that I started on my own drawings.

Well there is a submit button at the top. Just put its art category in (can sometimes be a pain to know where it needs to be) and upload.
If you need some help I’d give you a hand.

Am i supposed to take photographs of a drawing and then send it in?

When on someone’s main page you just press the '+deviantWatch' button and they are added to the friends list.
Photographs work, or if you have a scanner use that. Personally I just draw on the PC so I can just upload my files with less hassle.

"Main page"..? you mean the profile page?
I could do the same way as you to draw and submit, or maybe I never will make anything, I usually use this page to find nice pictures to use in profile pictures on newgrounds.
Oh thats also I wanted to know, how do you add a picture to that box just next to your post? I mean the box like yours where you have the face of your cool character Riki, he looks dangerous sometimes.
