I absolutely understand you xD I do exactly the same, and I really envy many people around here.
To be honest there are almost no artists that are 100% happy with their works, and like most things in life:
the neighbour's grass is always greener, but it's important because these kinds of things make us improve ourselves.
And it is possible! a year is a lot of time! I've improved A LOT since last year. It's all about practice and determination. You seem very talented, I believe you can do it (:
