My gosh, I just ADORE your bird art! I especially appreciate how your stickers don't have any sexist messages on them (whenever I see banners, I mentally prepare myself to see "kill all men" or "down with cis," made in all seriousness).Β
That and I just really love pigeons/doves (you reminded me to pick up Hatoful Boyfriend again!).
Have you ever considered making any tutorials on how to draw birds? Despite my love for them, I can't draw them to save my life. If you're too busy or you just don't feel like it, I totally understand and don't worry about it!

I'm glad you like the birds and the messages -- I did definitely want to make them all positive (even if some of the Hatoful ones are cheeky references to in-game quotes and situations that are decidedly less positive, haha -- but I do highly, highly recommend the game and hope you enjoy it!).
As for drawing birds, honestly the best I can suggest is to just do a lot of practice drawing from photos or from life if you can. Photos of birds in flight are especially great for understanding wing structure and feather arrangement. For a lot of animals, I'd suggest focusing on their skeleton and muscle structure since that can really help you figure out how their forms work in different positions, but birds are pretty weird since they're like 80% FLUFF and their internal structure often isn't obvious from the exterior, which is why I think just lots of practice is helpful because you learn the final/external shapes of the birds. I think doves/pigeons and crows are good birds to learn with since their structure/form is a lot more obvious to begin with compared to perching/song birds like robins and chickadees, which are just fat blobs most of the time. Raptors are good for challenging wing and talon structure while also still being fairly understandable in structure/form.

No worries, I try to do the same! But man, honestly I get super embarrassed trying to speak because I'm awful at it, which of course means I rarely speak and remain awful, but yeah! Next time you see me at a con feel free to speak to me in Mandarin?? I MIGHT STILL RESPOND IN ENGLISH because that's my reflex, but maybe you'll get some of my very poor Mandarin back too. ^__^;;;
