Hey, would you like to do something fun. Actually, It's an experimental and collective art game. So, I was wondering if you would like to mail me a drawing, with no shades, with a round format, and i'll put color in it.
You can say no if you want, it's just a proposition for fun. I'll mail back the drawing when done. Be at peace.

Thanks so much! I only just got your note as I have been without the internet for a long time. My computer died on me about 4 times, but has made a miraculous recovery! I shall set to work on the picture right away and mail it to you.

Thanks very much I love your artwork too, it really appeals to me, both the style and subject matter.
I hope things are well with you too - I just read all that stuff on your page about that creepy guy
Nice one on My Dying Bride, Depeche Mode and Paradise Lost

Hehe, thanks I'm glad you like my work
Yeah, I'm good thanks! I've just finished for Easter now, but I don't get much of a break because I've got tonnes of artwork to do before I got back to uni! And yeah, don't worry about that creepy guy! I've had to deal with him quite a bit in the past, but now I think he's a bit cowardly because all of his crimes are out in the open and stuff and has been 'found out' lol.
Hehe, thanks My Dying Bride are my favourites!! Are you going to see them on their tour in May? They're playing with Ava Inferi, another brilliant band

Kisses-of-night In reply to witchsorrow [2011-04-14 09:37:50 +0000 UTC]
What are you doing at Uni? Are you doing art? I have a load of stuff to do as well, I have a long list of people awaiting tattoo designs from me. The trouble is, they're all friends or friends of friends so I don't charge them! I just did a load for a tattoo shop, which I should be getting paid for (I hope). It was a laborious task and I couldn't wait to get it over with
I'm glad you dealt with the creepy guy. Good for you. There are some right weirdo's out there.
I was hoping to see My Dying Bride in May, at the Manchester date. It's a bit of a trek for me though and I have kids which makes it difficult. It's a shame they won't come up a bit further North. Have you seen them live before? I haven't unfortunately, but I so want to

I'm doing a joint honours course in Painting and Music at Northampton I'm finding the painting side of it really hard though, and my lecturers didn't really take much of a shine to me because of the nature of my work...so part of me wishes I'd studied something else now!
That's cool that you do tattoo designs for people I thought a while ago about going into that myself, but wouldn't really know where to start lol! How many tattoos did you do all together for this tattoo shop?
I used to live up North, just outside of Leeds Whereabouts are you based? Yeah, I've seen MDB once before when they played at this festival in Birmingham (I can't remember what it was called now lol!)! They're really good live Aaron is a brilliant frontman...he brings a lot of emotion and atmosphere to the songs in his performances

It's cool that you're doing art and music, the two coolest subjects ever
Well, the tattoo thing has only just taken off for me. Someone local, who runs an alternative/metal type cafe/shop, ran an art competition last Halloween, and I submitted a picture and won it, much to my amazement. He looked through my sketch pads and said that a lot of my stuff would make good tattoos. He had a few connnections so sent some of my pictures off to various people, and a place in Leicester called Starr tattoos really liked them and asked me to do some designs. I had to do 6 A3 sheets of them. So it was just a bit of luck really, how the whole thing happened. More and more people started seeing my stuff, and said "oh can you design me one?" blah blah.....and so I have a great long list of people wanting them! Most of them are friends though, so I won't make any money from it.
I live in Darlington, not too far from Leeds actually. I'm originally from the south though - from that scum hole known as Reading in fact (much to my shame - it has a bad reputation!)
I can imagine how great Aaron is live. He's pretty amazing isn't he? I haven't listened to them for a while, I think I'm going to have a MDB binge today now. Do you ever go on their forum?
It's so nice to talk to a like-minded person by the way

Hey, I saw some of your works in *Inkeriart 's feature, and wanted to say you've got some amazing paintings in your gallery. I love your style of depicting people-like beings (I'm not sure they're really 'people'), like in 'Dispensers of Justice'.

Kisses-of-night In reply to kiukkukissa [2011-04-11 14:14:39 +0000 UTC]
Thanks SO much. I don't know how it all came about really. I just started drawing 'people' like that last year, and it seems to have developed from there. They're more like ideas of people, than actual people themselves, if that makes sense?
π: 0 β©: 1
kiukkukissa In reply to Kisses-of-night [2011-04-11 17:23:45 +0000 UTC]
It makes perfect sense. That's the impression I got from your works, that the 'people' are depictions of something else. Very fascinating.

hi hon! i'm sorry i haven't replied to your comments. things aren't going so well for me. i don't know if you ever read my journal, but i have endometriosis that went into remission, after 2 surgeries, for ten years. now it's back like a demon. the pain is awful. the gyno put me on chemotherapy! on is usually used for breast cancert and the other for prostate cancer. it's some kind of radical hormone therapy. i'm seeing dr. dobsen tomorrow at 8:15 am. we need to find a permanent solution. i have a feeling that's a hysterectomy. i'm not sure. i guess i'll find out tomorrow. i've been taking vicodin (hydrocodone) (i know your drug companies or chemists or whatever sometimes call drugs by a different name than i knew it as. what an awkward sentence! i'm not feeling any pain now!!
i found a person who does drawings that i know would really float your boat, i have to go back to my favorites and figure out who it was, cause it seemed sort like the person was someone that would be on the same wavelength as you. it looked that way from the art! i'll sort that out soon enough and link you to her/him.
how is life? i've been drawing a painting constantly for the last several weeks because my shrink said i should try to distract myself from the pain, so i can get through it without losing it!
xxx mg ooo

Thanks honey
I am watching you too! Yeah I can't believe it either, it's happened all of the sudden, someone with connections said that my art would make great tattoo designs and he put me in touch with someone who buys designs. I haven't been paid yet I hasten to add - it remains to be seen whether I will or not!

good for you! even if you don't...i think it's still a good thing to have worked on. but it would be a lot nicer if they fucking paid you!
