You are more than welcome I am new and just learning and trying to figure stuff out. I have a question and not sure where to look for answers or where to ask...so I thought I would try you. I found a background and used it with my four  kitties....I want to show the artist who is allowing others to use the background my picture and also create a link to it...but not sure how to do this. I saw someone post a link to their facebook page, to show how they used it. I did that at first, but when I go  and click that link, I am seeing it like I do (like I can go in and make changes to my account) and not sure if this person or others sees it like that too.

How else can I do a link?? I also see others on here who look like they posted the picture on Deviant art..I don't know how to do that either and I want to make sure I am doing things properly...don't want to get into trouble and I want to give credit and thanks were its due.

Heya, I wouldn't worry about it, only you can see the page as you would if you're logged into it if it's your account.
To others it's a normal page

As for pasting the link it's just as simple as copy then paste as I'm sure you already know. If you're doing it within DA
you have the option (once pasted) to show it as a link or the image, just give it a second to load then make your choice.

It's nice that you want to give credit too! I hope this helps, if not just give me another shout

thanks  I also learned how to upload it here on Deviant art...under my name and give credit to the artist, but I have it in the totally wrong categories ~ I think it should only be under photomanipulation, and not sure how to fix that now or even how to find get that category, oh brother...but at least I want to learn and do things right, hope others understand...and thanks for your help

You can change the images category by clicking on the image then hitting Edit at the top right,
this takes you back to the page where you upload stuff, just change the category there
