Nobody ever used it and I was tired of hosting it for nothing. If you still want it, I can send it to you, but the online part of it is gone (well, for now, still have the backups)

Fun fact: You're only the second person to notice it was gone and the server diddn't run for many months now.
That were some well invested months of work that I could have spent playing Morrowind..

To be frank, I dunno. Most of the time, such an update takes a sweet ass time and I don't really have that much time on my hands and other projects are begging for my attention.. So, I dunno, at least not right now.

If I knew how to help you keep it up and running I would. Seems lately that it works for awhile and than something changes and DA won't allow you to log in with it anymore. It won't allow me to log in again. I cleared all my cookies like they suggest in the forums and deleted GalleryGrabber 1.7 and reinstalled it fresh and no go. Let me know if there is anything I could do to help to keep this app going!

Aparently dA changed something with the login again. The only way to keep this running would be for dA to stop fucking around with the site. Of course, they probably don't like what my program does so they don't care if they break it (though I would be happy to include their ads in the result if they gave me a relieable way to  get the images).
By the way, deleting cookies is never needed - GG has it's own cookie handling and doesn't care about anything from your browser. It also automatically deletes its cookies at shutdown. I also could find no entry in the dA forums.. probably for the better, as keeping this below the radar of the admins would probably be better

welp, I'm gonna have to look into that login buisness to see what they did this time to piss me off. may take a while, I have lots of other projects on my mind

btw, the only way you could help is if you knew some programming, but I doupt you do

Alright and the same kind of happened for FA too, I tried to log in on GalleryGrabber with it and found that even if the password is right, it displays an error saying to log into fur affinity.

that's weird, FA still works perfectly for me. Probably has to do with a special character in your password. kinda hard to figure out what one without knowing the pass and I guess you're not telling me

tell me if it does, then I can see if there's an encoding error in the password sending.
But I tell you what, I'll never make a program again that is so dependant of external sites. It's so frustrating having it work and then a week later dA or FA or anyone changes a bit on their website and it all ceases to work again..

Das meine ich genau. Hinter vielen deiner Journal Entries verbirgt sich eine Trauer die sich nicht deuten lässt. Du scheinst verbittert und einsam zu sein. Doch kaputt gehen tust du nicht daran und beweist mit Antworten wie dieser wieder eine Stärke die in den meisten Journals wieder weg zu sein scheint. Ein Kampf den du mit dir selber führst und alle anderen Menschen sind die Zuschauer auf der Tribühne. Du kämpfst gegen das was dich "erdrückt". Ist es eine Leere? Einsamkeit? Stress? Was es auch ist du scheinst dich gut zu schlagen, aber warum hilft es nicht? Warum hilft der Kampf nicht? Du hebst dich gegen aussen hervor. Du kämpfst gegen aussen. Doch der Kern des unheils liegt innen drin. Ein riesiges Kolloseum mitten in deinem Verstand und die Krieger die sich gegenüberstehen bist du selbst. Ich versuche mich nicht bei dir einzuschleimen oderso. Naja das was ich gerade schreibe wird dir sowieso am Arsch vorbei gehen. Davon bin ich überzeugt. Aber wenn es es nur einen winzigen Funken in deinem Kopf verursacht hat, hat sich die Arbeit schon gelohnt. Ich weiss nicht wie du dich fühlst, aber ich habe mich schon tausendmal gefragt ob die Welt nicht mal etwas zubieten hat ausser permanenter langeweile und Illusionen. Wie sich Leere anfühlt weiss ich.

Suche nicht nach dem Licht, sei selbst ein Licht.

Wer bist du überhaupt? Ich meine, wer geht schon rum und liest einfach mal ein paar alte Journals von Personen, die er kein Stück kennt und mit denen er nie zu tun hatte?
Übrigens, pseudopsychologisch werden kann ich genauso.. "Warum liest du Journals anderer Leute? Suchst du Personen mit derselben denkweise wie du selbst? Du versuchst damit, dich über den Level deines Leeren selbst hinwegzuheben, in die Leben anderer einzudringen. Du bist ein ewig suchender, der eine Antwort sucht, die nicht existiert". Siehst du? Rumbullshitten ist einfach Es lässt sich nunmal nicht alles mit deinem beschränktem Wissen über Psychologie, Philosophie und dergleichen erklären - Besonders nicht, wenn du die Zielperson deines Erklärungstriebes so gut kennst, wie eine Biene den Nordpol.
Und Ja, du hast es erraten, deine leeren Floskeln (lg? Diese Abkürzung ist ohne Bedeutung, denn erstens wiederspiegelt sie nicht den wahren Character des Davorstehenden, noch ist sie in irgendeiner Art ernst gemeint, was durch den simplen Fakt, dass sie eine Abkürzung ist, belegt wird) und deine amateurpsychologischen Deutungen bedeuten mir nichts, denn sie haben kein echtes Fundament.
