HEY!
yeah, I know, I dropped off the face of the earth.. sorry! I've been trying to resist temptation, which isn't too hard, since I still don't have a camera..
I'm really jealous you went to venice- I've only been there once, but it was 8 years ago, and it just doesn't seem enough.
I was looking through your profile- wow, you're really active here! anyway, thanks for the faves and happy belated easter!
hope you like my new pictures!

Studying, studying, and studying. at least that's what I try to do.. hopefully I'll succeed at it this time around.. Unfortunately, I get distracted-like now- I have a huge Latin test tomorrow, and a pretty grueling ancient greek lesson afterwards, and yet I'm still online writing this comment...
I'm extremely jealous.. the only place I can go in one hour is the center of Athens during rush hour, and it's not half as beautiful or exciting as venice

yeah, I like Athens too, but the sad thing is that, well, I live in its suburbs and I still need an hour to go anywhere central... -.-
but for me its just plain old home, even though it has its beautiful places.
yes, finally, summer has arrived! we should probably enjoy it now, since soon it will be hotter than hell. it rained a lot early in the morning though.
you should try to come to Greece in the summer, I hear that the hotels will lower their prices a lot because of the economical crisis, so it shouldn't be too expensive.. Depending on where you go, of course!
good luck with your studying!

I also wanted to go swimming in Naxos, but it didn't quite work out..
The weather is driving me insane though, it just can't seem to pick if it is warm or cold! There were enough clouds and rainy days during the winter, why can't the sun just SHINE?!
meh, I'm irritated today.
what do you think of martial arts movies? (I know, complete change of subject, but oh well) I was watching this movie wth morgan freeman and jet li last night(danny the dog), which would have been much better if there weren't so many long and boring fighting scenes, but I guess one can't avoid it when jet li is starring in a movie.
what kind of movies do you like?
ps: yeah, staying with cousins is awesome because it's free, but if you don't really get along with them, it can get a little tiring..

here its fine, it was cloudy on sunday but the rest of last week was all sunny why are you irritated? (:
well, i dont mind them if they are nicely choreographed, i used to train martial arts when i was a kid so i kind of like seeing them but i dont watch them very much, havent seen a martial arts movie in years now (:
i like all kinds of movies really, but my favorite ones are with al pacino, robert de niro.. i love mafia movies, i also like historical movies, like the gladiator..
my favorite movie ever is Scarface
what about you?
yeah i guess it can, only one way to find out

I'm irritated because one day of the week is sunny, so it gets my hopes up that summer has finally arrived, and then the next is cloudy and gloomy and dreary, and I'm the stupid girl waiting for the bus all dressed up for summer, freezing and catching colds!!!
sorry, didn't mean to take it out on you..
I watch them when they are played on the tv and I try to get some rest, but they almost always have no plot, so they are just a way to pass the time.
I also like all kinds of films, but I detest horror films and splutter(?) films. I have never seen and NEVER will see saw, or something of the kind, because my overactive imagination later applies all those torture techniques on myself..
I mean, I saw hide and seek, which isn't so scary, and then I couldn't sleep at night because of that one scene when Robert De Niro peeked through his fingers with an incredibly creepy look..
I also like historical movies, but usually not ones about ancient Greece, because whenever they try to make those films, it seems like the scenariographers read the summary of the story and started writing. Like Troy, which is supposedly based on the Heliad, and it's just full of scenes with Brad Pitt looking macho(trying to, at least. well, he's better than Colin Farrell in Alexander, I'll give him that). If you read the heliad, even the abridged version, you'd know that most of the people who died in the film still live in the Odyssey, and so on and so forth.
My favorite movies are American History X, The Shawshank Redemption, and Monty Python: The Holy Grail.
well, I hope your relatives are the nice kind! :glad:
ps:sorry for the extremely long message

same weather is here, it was really hot the last ten days, now it started to rain
i dont really like horror movies either
i do like the ones about greece too, im not really expecting them to be correct, the last few i watched were braveheart, troy, gladiator, 300, kingdom of heaven, but none of them are really correct, i still liked them though, i like seeing the costumes and i think they manage to give a feel of the period too. if i want to learn something then i read or watch a documentary, so i'm not too concerned about movies being correct
i like those movies too, they are really good.. i love monty python
oh its not a problem at all, i like long messages

Hopefully it will not change so suddenly that one day we 'll be sleeping with blankets, and the next it will be 40 degrees Celsius. I remember last year, there were some heatwaves so intense, even the house seemed to be suffering from the heat... and, where I live, it's pretty windy.
yeah, I get what you mean about reading instead of using the movie for information, but I've been surrounded by people all my life who would rather watch the movie instead of read the book.. Not many people read a lot now, which is pretty sad, in my opinion..
300 was pretty cool, in the sense that it's based on a comic, but when I first saw it, I thought that that's probably what male strippers look like-well, less buff-since they paraded around during the entire movie wearing only those leather..thingies
on the other hand, it's only 17 days until my exams start, so I probably won't be around a lot- or maybe I will, since procrastination seems to be one of my most prominent characteristics these days- so I hope you have fun until we talk again. Enjoy all these beautiful sunny days for me too, ok?
