Kodita, you and my little brother have the same birthday! I loved it because we always got the day off of school. The only real diference is that he just turned 56. I have a question to ask you: I am givning my niece my first additon Pooh book for her birthday and would like to use your Pooh as a border to the inscription I am going to write. I will be 58 just after Christmas and if you make fun of me for loving Winne "at my age' I might climb up on the roof and throw myself off. My neice just had her 27th or 28th birthday (she is now, my only blood relative) and when she was six, was a real Pooh nut. I had been living in Texas, she and the family in Los Angeles. Not getting along with the rest of the family, I drove from Houston and left a whole pile of Winnie the Poo stuff on her doorstep in the middle of the night. Now that I think of it, I cannot recall why I didn't just mail it. I think I was afraid that my brother would throw the box away. She still claims it was the best birthday that she ever had. Even if that is not true, I choose to believe it so. I hate to part with this book. It was given to me when I was 18 (1973) but a friend told me once that a gift is not worth giving if it does not hurt to give it away. Following this sage advice, I am giving it to her.
I will most certainly figure out a way, probably a photo, to let you know how it comes out. I will give you credit, of course, on the final project. This officially makes you a professional artist, by the way.
