oh i mean i love how celsys encourages people to share tutorials/tips and materials there- i also heard they occasionally hold tutorials(?) contests~ people usually posts tips/shortcuts on twitter and i can't help but get mindblown everytime lmao

i just got an ipad pro and it's awesome but i'm still experimenting with drawing programs i wanna use- ive been using photoshop but i kinda want to get procreate since i've heard good things about it??

yeah kinda haha~ photoshop interface is my fav too omg its way more simpler than csp in terms of practicalities but csp won my heart for the various tools

oh i see haha, honestly I just say, just let it flow~ while practicing is important, studies too, it is tiresome to keep an extra tab for references on but it is helpful and is necessary aaa! or if you're like me, i have a sharp memory on remembering visual images but my brain to mash like thousands image into one which is... very troublesome, watching speedpainting while drawing is very helpful (i would recommend clockbirds, marcia, and elentori since they're my main inspo atm hehe) mmm i post some step by step on my insta can't really link them here sorry

I totally feel that!! most cases with me are that the matter of perspective haha like I could point out the vanishing point and the general distance and sizes but it just came out wrong I just scraped them as sketches whoops~ i guess I'll be patient for now
mmm there's definitely pros and cons~ the cons are that insta algorithm is just sucks (i can't exactly explain how it is (sorry!) but there are plenty of posts/articles explains how it is! in brief from what I know it kinda works like Tumblr's 'Best stuff first' the content you've liked and commented influence similar posts to appear on your feed, accounts with the most likes and comments (from you) will always appear on the top of your feed, the other ones will appear once you scroll down or won't appear at all~) ah anyway, sorry if this confused you >_< the pros is that many artists is way more active there, the community there is pretty nice and supportive too, the layout is just simpler and classic instead of DeviantArt's eclipse blegh

i have a similar problem haha- I can do more naturey things but i cannot paint geometric shapes aAH xD like, the sketch looks fine, but with painted shading and stuff it's wrongg ~ oh huh, that seems sorta annoying. I'll def read up on it though! And aah yeah, a ton of artists i like are super active on insta soo :') and mY GOD YEAH. deviantart's layout is gross xD insta's interface seems really pretty ~ random thing but my activity is kinda dying, since school's a mess with corona and stuff gahh- I can't wait for spring break, gotta push through one more week :0Β
