I would like to apologize for bringing up such a morbid subject into the discussion. I guess I got a little carried away. The bond between Hana and Oyajide is still disgusting though, but that's my unpopular opinion. I don't even like the show that much.

I think comparing an anime character to a real-life murderer is a bad comparison. A much better comparison is with another anime character. For example: Orochimaru from Naruto. He's a redeemed villain, yet people still see Orochimaru as a twisted mongrel. In fact, WatchMojo places Orochimaru at #2 in their list of the top 10 Naruto villains, second only to Madara Uchiha.

Orochimaru actually killed people for his own benefit and did horrible things out of his own volition. I stopped following Naruto before his redemption, so I have no idea what kind of character he is now. Oyajide committed all of his crimes because he was following his country's orders and never killed anyone, not to mention stopped following orders for Doremi and Hana's sake at the end of season 2, and is shown to have been a good person throughout the story. If you want him to be an Orochimaru-like villain, you'll be entering some severe OOC territory. There is a difference between a comedic semi-antagonist from an innocent mahou shoujo anime and a murderous villain from a violent shonen series, and you should be careful with characterization when creating fan content to avoid misjudging and demonizing characters. Hope I have made myself clear enough.

Relax, I'll still retain his comedic relief. Kind of like Hades from Disney's Hercules. It's just headcanon. That's the beauty about fanfiction. You just gotta use your imagination.
