Also I'm still on my way to catch my own way to draw... they're many styles and ways to draw digitally and traditionally out there and... it's very exciting when you're trying something new >/< so I'll do my best to discover my way to do better illustrations... well, or something like that maybe XDD

Trust me I know the feeling, I feel like I pull my art apart way to much and doubt myself, I've been trying to avoid doing that as much lately, and actually found that I'm enjoying my time making art more enjoyable, and the love and support from everyone makes it better, so I totally know how you feel!!Β

I think there's a good amount of artists that go through this struggle, some of us tend to compare our art to others and can get discouraged, but I've been trying to learn how to avoid that, since it does have a big impact on me - I can stop drawing for weeks, because I know I can't make good art. But still, I remember that drawing is something fun, not a stressful thing to do, so I practice more and more.
And yes! I've gotten so much support so far and it has helped me and inspired me a lot! So thank you again!! <3

Yeah I do that more than I should, I think that it's because we're so used to the style we draw, so when we see some that look different than our own often we go. "wow. why can't mine look like that" People probably do the same when they see our art. When I get in art slumps I find it really hard to get out of them at times, sometimes it also takes me a week or two to get out of it, I mean I used to have an older account when I was younger that I just gave up on because I had this huge gap where I didn't draw for awhile (almost a year. o 0o' ) stressed with schoolwork, and feeling like I couldn't draw that well. This account was made for me to make a fresh start for myself, and I plan on not letting my slump get that bad again. ^ ^'
Also, yeah a lot of practice helps as well, usually when I can't work on a big project I just try and doodle a few small things to help reset my creativity.
I'm glad you're getting so much support!! I'm also glad that you think I'm kind, I just try and say, and do things that I feel will brighten peoples days up a little more.

Yes! Exactly. I always see some very nice art and I think ughh i wish I had that style so I don't want to draw in my style anymore. But the problem is, even if I could draw in another style that someone else has, that would be stealing. I also had an old account, but I drew pretty rarely, cause I started hating it and it was very uncomfortable to draw in. So I made this account not so long ago to draw in a new style that's easier and more beautiful for me (I really love aesthetics and some kind of minimalism, so this style is really fun to draw in). I still haven't deleted the account, but I plan to. Even if I hated that art, it's still nice to look back sometimes.
Doodles are really fun

I really like the style you have going on with this account (I know I've praised your art so much already but it needed to be said again haha) I think a lot of what I love about it is that it's simple, but still shows that you put a lot of time and effort into it. Art does not need to have millions of details to be good, I actually prefer less detailed works a lot of the time as well. Also if you check out my profile I actually have a link to my old art. (LOOKIFYOUDAREreallythoughalotofitisreallybadlydonehahaaaaa*sob) Even though I wish to delete it at times or hide it away I keep it available on my page for myself and people to look back on. It kinda helps me in a way to keep it up, because it allows my watchers but more importantly myself to look back on how my art looked before, and appreciate how much I've improved in the art world. So if you like looking back at it some times, I think you should leave it up, or... at least make sure to keep the old art safe somewhere to keep looking back on how far you've gotten, I think that's something every artist should do once in awhile. If I could. I would have stopped myself as a child because I threw away a lot of my old art, and now I can't look back on some of my improvements in a certain time in my life. Sooooo yeah~!!

When I was a much younger artist I would have loved support for my art, and lovely comments, and for the first bit of time on Deviantart I really didn't stick out too much, or have much watchers for the longest time. It really bummed me out as a kid. So I guess growing up I decided to become that person. <3

Thank you so much oml! <3 It does take time, cause now i focus on lineart more than coloring. It gets annoying sometimes when you can't get a straight line but I still need to improve. Im embarassed to say this, but i'm really lazy sometimes so it's very uncomfortable and hard for me to focus on the details. And I feel u, I'll check it out later, but the thing is I really don't want to take it down because it's my first DA profile and i've had it for a quite long time. I still have drawings from my childhood, but they're mostly still life, I didn't draw many humans when I was young. I actually wasn't into art that time, my parents forced me to go to an art's school so I don't think it helped lol. So recently I started to learn on my own and I think I improved.
And I feel u! On my first profile I wanted to gain watchers but it just didn't work. Then I would become sad because I would think that my art is bad and no one likes it ;;. But, now I got so much support and it makes me so happy <3 ^^

Oh no, no need to be embarrassed about that, a lot of the time my lines are rarely straight, and I go for a more sketchy look because I get worried about the lines. actually the lineart is what messes me up the most. I can have a really cute sketch but feel like the lineart ruins it. ^ ^'
Only check it out if you're brave enough to handle it, haha. (My first "Anime" drawing looked like an anime girl version of spongebob. it was baddddddd)

My way of getting into it seems a bit opposite, was stubborn with becoming an artist. My parents were supportive, but I had a lot of really crappy art teachers growing up, and other adults/kids who told me it was a bad path to go on, I think that just made me practice more. I also drew a lot of different types of art (mainly anime at the beginning) and even now do a lot of different art forms, and am also trying to bring out my own style (struggling a bit with that AhhhHHHHH).
Yeah at first, my only watchers were a few art friends I knew in real life, but really no one outside of that, I felt pretty awkward about the lack of watchers as well.
Though I think now that I'm older I care more about doing art to make myself happy, and I'd much prefer a smaller group of watchers that really support me, and I can talk to, Compared to having thousands of watchers but ones that are not really social with you. It's just a number. I think the support, and sweet moments you get from close watchers matters more than some number. (Though if I could build a really big community of art friends on here to talk to that would be pretty awesome not going to lie haha)Β
I'm sure that support, and love from your watchers will continue being there for you, I'm happy for you being happy. ^ w^

Oh I had a sketchy style before, well it wasn't actually that sketchy but it wasn't clean either so it annoyed me. Doing lineart is frustrating, but when I get to the coloring part its so fun
Oh, I have a friend who struggled with teachers that weren't very helpful and basically stole your money for it.
I was also very interested into anime before, so I had that kind of style on my old profile. But now i'm not really into it so I created a new style.
And I agree, I love talking with people, I don't care about many watchers, it's just nice to meet artists, because I don't have many friends who draw irl.
