I did! I'm so glad I finally got a chance to enjoy artist alley - usually I have no moneys T_T But not this year!!

I'm also super excited to wear my whipped cream hair clips 8D SOOO CUTE! Do you do custom requests? I just checked out your gallery and noticed you don't have very many hand made crafts - which is a real shame, they're super original and absolutely amazing!

I'm sure I could do custom requests, I just haven't had anyone interested before. But since I had such success at MetroCon, I'm definitely planning on making more things in the future! I'm trying to set up an Etsy shop and then build up from there.

lol, yeah. What's creepy is today, in school, I was in the computer lab working on homework and a tour came through and the guide pointed me out and was like "Yeah, we have those fancy tablets she's using! You can make awesome stuff! Awesome awesome awesome!" And I was just like, "Yeah, so awesome. That's why I'm failing everything and this tablet doesn't even belong to the school, right?" to myself...

I was borrowing my friend Stripes' Wacom Bamboo Fun. It's about half the size of a notebook.

I'll tell you what, though. A tablet might not necessarily mean instant amazing art, but it REALLY helps. I draw. I use my hand, and a pencil. I fluctuate pressures to get different values and opacity and use my fingers to manipulate where my lines are going. I don't move my whole limb like some clicking club to make art =__= Mouse-painting was never too successful with me. And especially so because I don't usually have a mouse - I have a little 2x3" tracpad to drag a single finger across.

Have you seen the finger art I've done? XD I'm not bad with that either, it just takes massive patience really.

I have a Wacom tablet as well. Bamboo even. I adore it, but it's weird having to move all over the tablet to draw something specifically. I was adjusted to a graphire 4 wacom which was a lot easier to handle. I love the pressure sensativity though. It helps for when I'm coloring my pictures with a water color tool.

Yeah, my school just got some Intuos4's and I fell in love. I tried not to touch tablets to begin with because I knew I'd want/need one as soon as I did, and lo, I was right ._.

pretty crazy. Did the whole Metrocon thing and it was half blow-up-in-my-face and half awesome. Finally getting some down time, then my bf's dragging me across the country to visit him in IL.
