Well we have a strange game development thats for sure, some important stuff is mainly overlooked or not done properly, like some projects have very little time or no time for preproduction phase, and i'm talking mostly about games for iphones and social net, we almost don't have good and experienced game designers, most of those who i worked with had no experienced at all and we had to think something up on the go. It's hard to work in such conditions when you do more than you should. We also have a lot of managers, who dictate what the game should be and they have no clue about games, thats irritating sometimes and sometimes they hire people that cannot draw without asking artdirector about the person

Since Russia is relatively new to the industry, I can Imagine it might be hard to find experienced designers . Your work is very good and I'm sure it helps set the art standards high.
I experience something similar with my studio. We were new and had to wait a while before we could get our hands on more experienced people.

Yeah, i'm trying hard to be in-demand at least here, maybe i'll try to get to bigger foreign company for more experience, maybe we'll meet again somewhere there

I can see you working in foreign studios since you know English already.
Working in the states, I realized that some companies have limited visas to give away, so once their quota is filled, they would look only for Americans. I hope Europe is kinder in that regard.
Lucky for me I'm both european and american, so I might go back to Europe. Specially when so many eastern european studios are popping up! (CD Projekt being one of them)
Anyways, enjoy the summer!

Я тоже теперь рисую. Правда, мне проще трансформера нарисовать, чем животное и человека. А сейчас пытаюсь нарисовать автобота Оптимуса из Трансформеров Прайм. Деталей надо меньше прорисовывать.

Ну в рисовании главное практика и все можно научиться рисовать, мне роботов тяжелее но я смогу нарисовать что-то подобное, но опута меньше чем в тех-же портретах.

Да, практика везде нужна: в создании фан-работ, клипов.
Как-то на бумаге нарисовала грустного Родимуса Прайма и получилось. Так что все у меня получится.
