LOVE IS IN THE AIR!
I am a self-taught photographer, born and raised in Russia. From 2006 permanently live in US. I have always been interested in creating something new, and my mind is consistently full with any sorts of ideas. From photography to movie montage, from matching wall colors to entire interior design.
There is no point that made me start taking photography a lot more serious, I just fell in love, slowly, deeply, with practice. Seeing ordinary things from my perspective. And it is that love for photography that later on would have me going after a career in it.
My images are very diverse, Iβm interested to find something meaningful in simple things, from lonely leave to whole composition, from auto-portraits to concert photography, from mountain to the city streets. I enjoying taking photographs of wild animals, nature, architectures, and I have special love for Gothic themed images.
If it looks interesting to me I will shoot it. In many of my images, I try to capture something that will evoke an interest in the viewer; I want to have an image that the viewer can see ordinary thing in a new light. To be able to show the viewer all beauty of the world, unaffected by sizes or colors. Almost any technical photographic challenges interested me. I want to be capable of creating anything not only technical perfect but also alive.
I am always thrilled when I am approached, there is no greatest compliment to an artist than having their work published or their prints sold. To think someone wants my work hanging on their wall flatters me.
