# About me
My name is Vince and I like to draw! It's something to keep me occupied if I'm waiting for something to download or just because. I find it quite relaxing drawing something. What I like to draw most is Anime. I can't necessarily do realism, mainly because I don't like to do it.I freehand and draw from scratch, never trace (unless it's something like giving to a friend or something).
Another thing I like to do is write TG stories. It sounds a bit awkward, but it's something different. Something new to do and think of as well. It's interesting to read something that seems like it could happen or how it would feel if that happened to you. Plus, I've always imagined what it would be like to be girl myself, just to see what it would be like.
I mentioned sites that I go to to write TG stories and such. I'm not sure if it's against the rules to post websites, so I'm taking a shot in the dark here :|.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I was trying to find a good link but I haven't really found one yet haha.
It's where you look at a person for 30 seconds, and you try to draw the pose they are in 
Otherwise, there are websites with pictures you can use that change automatically every 30 seconds.

As much as I love speed drawing (on some cases) I don't necessarily like realism. I know it's not about drawing the detail and such, but...

I don't like realism either, but every single artist needs to practice it.
See, style comes from realism. An artist draws a person's eyes. If they are an anime artist like you, they probably draw them very, very big. This exaggeration makes them cute or whatever, but they were still based on realism.
If an artist doesn't practice realism, he or she will be drawing exaggerated features based on other exaggerated features, which will lead to many mistakes and bad habits. This isn't necessarily bad. Almost every artist starts out imitating other artists they like, but if you want to grow and improve, you need to practice realism.
You don't have to draw realistically all the time. You should continue to draw anime characters since that is what you like to do

Yeah! Gesture drawing is a great way to start, because each drawing only takes 30 seconds and that way you won't get overwhelmed with features
And if you find a gesture drawing of a pose you like, you can finish it in a style if you want. It can really help you get a drawing started! You'll have fun I promise.
