Yep. It was originally supposed to be I believe David (guy on far right) Doug Smith, and Steve Bennett. But then Steve begain marshaling passerby over, including some of the fine Robotech folks. So I had about five or six cameras shoved on me so everyone could get a copy of the group shot.

Haven't heard anything official nyo. If we have one there it would be announced on the website and forums~ so I dunno where u got this rumor nyu?

Apparently it was posted on a forum somewhere while Kunicon St. Louis was still running (my daughters and a friend saw it). Since Atlanta and Colorado are undo-able for us, I had high hopes of attending Detroit (despite some issues I had/have with Kunicon St. Louis). If there is one, we're definitely planning on attending. If not, well, then we won't. Can't attend a non-existent convention, right? However, we also have to do some creative organizing and funding to make the conventions we attend, so knowing as far in advance as possible would prevent a conflict. Detroit isn't too far from here, and we have friends up that way who would most likely attend with us, too.
I'll just wait and watch for any announcements.

I live in Florida too. I went to that Anime convention in Miami Beach in last December. I was only there on Saturday and until like 12 in the afternoon the next day ( It was from Friday to Sunday) and I had an awesome time. It was frickin' great. I'm looking forward to the next Kunicon.
