Great, powerful, those were two words every man would die to here especially from one who stood a higher rank than them in this world strength was beauty, and beauty was strength if you couldn't fight back you were nothing but an outcast in the world of pirates. ThoughΒ the sniper longed to hear words of praise, he never wished to hear the sound of his old foe after years out at sea. Since the boy became a real pirate to join Luffy and his crew life in The Syrup Village had become bland, even after putting an end to the real scumbags that were behind the madness hording off of his childhood friend just to get rich. All of it was coming back to him and it didn't take long for the man's expression to shift into an enraged, dark, hateful look. Turning towards the other his hands tightly clenched into fists he knew right then what this man came for.
"You....what the hell are you doing back here? Last I heard you got kicked out of the village, if your gonna try again with taking Kaya's family riches ya got another thing comin!"
He hissed.

Well, unlike the others my muse has a habit of flickering on and off. It never stays in one place and eventually I sort of give up trying to keep it going, I kinda abandoned Usopp for a while after focusing on another account and got my muse for that but now that i'm further into the series i'm gonna try and be more active with the guy. I just wish more CP9 members and Strawhats would come up; detailed ones and not some idiot that goes around making random accounts he/she never uses.

The man's taunts only angered Usopp more in a way that his past self would never have the balls to, confronting the man alone without screaming in terror was one of the many things that Kuro spoke about...he wasn't his father but the sniper would stand his ground if anything came between him and his village, especially if Kaya's life was on the line.
Reaching a hand behind him toying with a strange object that was attached to his backside, Usopp unraveled what looked like a bigger version of his old slingshot revamped, colored, and built to satisfaction. First talking back to an elder and now this, what other secrets did the sniper have in store? Readying his new weapon hesitating on loading it for now, he stared the other down a look of determination plastered on his face.
"That coward's no longer here, ever since I became a pirate I've gained more confidence in myself and you having the nerve to come back here sickens me. Maybe I was a fool back then for thinkin I could beat you, but this time I won't hold back....i'll fight you with everything I got!"
Though the boy's body did tremble a bit he still stood strong refusing to move from his place.
"No matter what you do...I won't let you destroy my village, I WON'T LET YOU HURT KAYA AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE!"
((I can relate, though I use my main account for art practice i'm a pretty big roleplayer myself when it comes to characters I love portraying. Especially those from One Piece, as for None Piece I only watched a few episodes then I stopped watching it. owo;; ))

Bringing up issues of the past didn't so much for the sniper's ego, but what did is the man's assumption that heΒ was still the same little coward who ran through town everyday screaming "PIRATES AREΒ COMING!" and creating havoc.
This was something Usopp had to face alone, without Luffy, Zoro, or any other of his crew helping him out....all the mistakes he made, the lies he told, even failing to save his childhood friend by taking out the one who kept her ill all these years. All of those events would be put behind him after this; he would create a new path and mark himself a hero defeating the one fear that haunted him for so long...the man who insulted his father. He'd make sure Kuro would not be able to stand after this.
Holding a shiver that attempted to run down his spine he didn't dare turn around, but simply tighten his grip around the weapon ready to face death even though he was screaming on the inside.
"Bring it on..."
In the blink of an eye the sniper turned on heel readying his slingshot releasing the first shot of amo he loaded towards the other.
