Damn. I taught myself, but I need a lot more direction than most free-hand artists. I'd love to take classes since I feel that I've sort of reached a bit of a stopping point (mostly because I've been out of school for two years now, and that's where I did most of my drawing haha), so I'm roughly out of practice.
I used to draw literally every day, several times a day. Now, I'm lucky if I draw three times a week. :/

I draw on my spare time, making sure I have a blank age and a nice mech pencil. Then away I go :3.
The way I learned was buying an anatomy book and teaching myself to dray a person from the skeleton up through practice. I never actually read it though . . .*shrugs*

I do a lot better when someone is physically showing me/teaching me than from a book. I've got ADD (the real thing. Not some excuse some kid makes up so that he doesn't have to try as hard in school), so I find it extremely hard to concentrate when given solitary tasks like that. Learning simply from a book isn't impossible, but it's pretty hard for me. I find that when people tell me/show me, it sinks in a lot easier and I actually remember it. P:
Which is why I'd love to take classes. Haha
