Well, I am thinking of making an original crossover where various characters have to fight off zombies. My only problem with getting the idea off the ground is deciding which characters die, which ones live, which ones crack and which ones become zombified.

For once let me tell you something...
Please don't make it sound like Disney. If can, add some drama, maybe some good guys get killed but try to keep their character intact to their own original series. Not only that, if this is some sort of zombie fiction, you have to think about how the characters, either good or bad, would react in the situation.

From what you put up, apparentely. Then again, you do have a habit of copying and pasting, so that would be understandable.
(looks at the list) But yeah, the roles DO look mis-matched. And it does look off to put oneself as the main character in a fanmake of an already made story. Trust me, I have to hear this (making oneself and OCs the characters) A LOT from someone I already know besides Priscilla.

Too be honest, it does get a little weird when people try putting themselves as the main character of an epic.
That doesn't mean putting yourself as a main character means it's bad. Really, it isn't. From what I've seen, good stories that authors have put themselves as the main character in basically roll around those where the main character is somehow in a video game series and has to go on an adventure through the game to find out how. There are also stories where the author is the main character when the plot is actually just episodic, like usual cartoons such as Spongebob Squarepants, Dexter's Laboratory, Darkwing Duck, etc. Stories that include the author as the main character even include parodies; Mel Brooks is a prime example, as he appears in nearly all the movies he made as a character or two.
