That's great man! Glad to hear it's goin well. Mine's still in early concept phase, only got a few pages roughed out and some character sheets getting made up, but pretty happy with how its going so far!

It's artwork like this that I greatly envy, but also heavily admire. You have great talent in showcasing some really spontaneous, but well-thought out creatures. I'm sure you're much older than me, and you have a career in the games industry somewhere, but I really do feel like I need to pick up the pace, if I ever have any hope of being as good as you!

Hey now I'm only 26, I'm not THAT old yet lol! Thanks so much, I'm glad you dig my artwork! Pretty much everything here is a product of ideas I've had for years, but are just more recently being fine tuned and getting the fat trimmed off.

I find a lot of inspiration from all forms of entertainment. Movies, animation, games, even a song can make me think of some sort of character that would accompany it. There's also a slew of great artists here on DA that have had an effect on my work as well like just to name a few. Also I've found that if you enjoy more of the cartoony look, it'd be worth checking out "Action Cartooning" by Ben Caldwell, very helpful book filled with great notes on the structure and style of characters.
