Yeah, I did. Before the DLC ending, I was really angry etc, and I stopped writing and drawing because it kinda sucked the fun out of the game for me, but with the extra stuff they added in, especially the explanation/farewell with your last two squaddies and the epilogue bit, it made me feel like playing again. I still hate the whole EDI thing, though. >.> Ugh.
Some of it was really beautiful and poignant, though, which makes it worse--parts you love and parts you hate, lol.

Yeah, prior to the DLC I struggled a lot because I'd finished a destroy/full assets ending, and I just felt like my poor Shep had been given a really, really short stick, though I did have a lot of appreciation for the whole Illusive Man and Anderson scene leading into the ending. The goodbye scene did make me feel a little bit better, along with the epilogue, as you said (I mean, I ended up with Zaeed in a beach chair, which was just precious). And agree very much on EDI - the bar chat with Joker about his relationships with Shep and EDI just killed me.
Overall though, I was pretty pleased with the game's story. I really felt like all the major plotlines culminated in an emotionally meaningful way, especially with the krogan, quarians, and geth. Thessia and the Cerberus hijacking of the Citadel, not so much.

Yeah, they really made you pity TIM, poor driven s.o.b. that he was. Haha, really? Lol, I guess he deserves some R&R. I chose synthesis on my first playthrough (I couldn't handle destroying the geth), so I didn't see that. I did appreciate that they made it sort of a realistic "happy" ending, in that their are still flaws and problems to work out.
I know! I felt like the hijacking level was really cool, but didn't make a lot of sense. You'd think after a while even the most witless Cerberus lackeys would think "hm, maybe we should defeat the Reapers and then focus on galactic domination".
