To be honest, I don't have any books that I would recommend because I haven't read that many. I'm an uncivilized swine lol... :c
I've sort of replaced reading books with reading science articles (or anything interesting really) or manga. I'm quite simplistic.

It's not really my cup of tea to be honest. I know that the books are much better than the movies, but that isn't what's making it less interesting for me.
Yeaaaah, some are really boring. I prefer shorter and clearer texts. But I wouldn't mind reading a long one if it's on an intriguing topic.
Manga is what I turn to when I want to get away from reality. It's feels good to get your mind off of things.

Acutally, yes. You get the designs of the characters and the world they live in ready for you along with some dialogue/narration. And you know what they say. "A picture says more than thousand words."
