Well, not much has happened outside doing my art full time to get money. It's not much, but it's an honest living. hardly come by DA these days outside managing the groups i'm in and lurking. 

I've been going to car shows every month for the most part and dealt with some of the people i've done commissions to besides a couple of friends.

There's a lot of them every weekend, although i have to check out which one i have to go to from a crapshoot. 

These dickheads want their stuff for free and think that being an Artist isn't a job. i've seen people post sketches on FB's marketplace for twice what i charge. i am underselling, which is not a good situation and i'm never set on a steady rate. i need to change that.

Hey Jonathan,

First of all, my apologies for the late reply.. life changed quite a bit since a few months ago, resulting in less time to make art, or browse the internet in general. Since the end of 2018 my life was in a rush to prepare moving out of my parent's house, and start a living on my own...

So since the start of this year that is a fact: Got my own place, but I don't have internet yet as the houseowner and the internet provider need to find a way to agree with eachother regarding the internet connection. The provider wants to hook me up with optic fibre which is faster, while the house owner wants to stick with the current internet wire..oh well, gotta wait

So I can write this message now from my parent's place as there I have internet. I hope you are doing well man?

Same here, having a "part time" (feels and practically is fulltime) job and during free time I try to work my ass off to get a carreer some day
Oh..yea I try to relax a bit more these days as well in the evenings, I really need that ...something I learned last year again

My massive apologies for my absence here on Deviantart, even though I randomly check for feedback messages containing questions etc which I answer when I can, my life is quite...busy lately. With busy I mean...lot of stuff in life going on, but wayyyy less time to draw or produce 3D works (not sure if that's allowed in the group by the way?). There's a new drawing coming up but I have to wait for references...

Yea but...it's a bit more than I had hoped for, but well...that's life they say XD
I must admit that I don't understand the "rooster" as you mentioned, English is not my native language and when I use the translator I get something about a..rooster-chicken
I'm pretty sure it's not about anything related to a chicken, right? So what I do understand (I think) is that an artist get featured as long as they are active members, correct?
And not sure but...even though I haven't been active lately due to work, I'm still on that list of potential "Meet the artist participants"?

Well I probably can still submit some work, but...it will be some older work, as I guess my most recent project, which is 3D, doesn't fit in the drawings-section ^^
But I noticed a gallery named mixed media, and for that, I actually have a project, which is relatively recent, as it's a mix of traditional 2D, digital 2D and digital 3D combined
It's about this piece, let me know if it's allowed in the group, then I can submit

sure 3d art falls under our Digital folders. No problem. "Rooster" lol was a typo. "Roster" means our list of members.

Looking through your gallery there is a lot of art we don't have in our galleries.

Allright good to know, I see you added one of my (older) 3D works to  "Digital Art - Painting", so I will add other 3D works in there later as well Not the whole gallery of course, just a selection of pieces

And yea, I only submitted some of the best works so far, not the real old stuff and as I am quite critical when it comes to judging my own art, I don't have much works which I define as "Good" to be honest XD
