I'm just about to turn 16, and I'm thinking of becoming a writer myself. My idol is Christopher Paolini who finished his first book at only 15! and got it published, I think, at 19! I really don't consider myself an amazing writer either. In fact, comparing myself to others, I usually think I'm just average. I would kill for some College classes on writing! That would be amazing!

yeah I'm taking a creative writing class next year, but unfortunately it will only last for a quarter, and I don't feel that will help a whole lot. But I'm willing to try, mostly because I want to show off! lol!

(that really makes me feel like such a sap, saying it over and over again, but what else am I supposed to say? lol) I think there are a lot of people out there with talent, that just needs to be discovered. And for some, they need to create their own greatness. But either way, if they work hard enough at it, they'll succeed.
mere talent is not enough, it is the work put into what they do that makes success.
