I noticed that you have both the Lumix FX500 and LX3, Is the LX3 worth the extra money, I found a sale on the FX500 for 189USD and the LX3 just jumped to 450USD. How are they compared to each other?

YES! The LX3 is pure LOVE! I sold my FX500 & TZ5 on eBay today to save money for the Lumix TZ7 that comes out in March. I will have the LX3 and TZ7 only then. LX3 is pure joy to use and to own!

You will NOT be dissapointed! I shot Prague in '08 with the LX2 and Amsterdam with the LX3. Left my bulky DSLR at home and never looked back. LX3 is something really special to own and use EVEN if you have other cameras. Go ahead! Get it and LIVE! LOL!

I have to keep a better eye on my LX3 as well
it's now currently missing a lens cap and the
front has a small puncture (not a scratch!) on
it ... I can't imagine how it happened seeing
it was on my hands or sweater pockets the whole time I was
out...
but I can assure you this through experience that
the LX3 is tougher than it looks^^
Oh am I safe to assume that you are waiting patiently
for the G1? ^^ It looks very interesting doesn't it?
I can't wait to play with it at my friend's camera shop^^

I think I will pass on the G10 just because of the weight. I had a G9 and sold it because it was too heavy. Also, the web reviews are already putting the picture quality of our beloved LX3 above the G10. I anxiously await your review of the G10!
