I've been enjoying wearing and showing off your one-of-a-kind cargo hakama for some time now. The open-source philosophy is one of the key points I include when people invariably ask about what I'm wearing. I'm sad that your experiment did not come to lasting fruition. I do know that I will enjoy the hakama for many years to come.

It is my sincere hope that you'll be able to make another "go" of this, perhaps as a pattern company, or a bespoke clothier. Β I truly love the pattern concepts, and the philosophy you had, but alas- I fear the U.S. economy has doomed you. Β Too many people are doing hobbies only if they can produce as cheaply as possible the things needed to pursue them. Β I have taught probably 40 people how to make knives like I do, and many have gone on t be successful in their business, others have done it just for the experience of it. Β Soon, perhaps you'll be among the leaders of a new movement "paying it forward" in business, where the relationship between the seller and buyer is again personal and important. Β Best of luck to you all!
