Mainly because of Divergence and several other of your stories on Fanfiction.net which I greatly enjoyed.

because I was looking at the time looking for a self sacrificing or dying heroic Jaune.

I hope that I have not insulted you. Your art(Both written and drawn) was enjoyable enough to me that I wished to be alerted for more. The picture that I linked was one that I really liked in terms of what was draw and the accompanying description.

Get too much praise? While your art and stories may not be top notch or the best(No one is), that does not mean that it is not worthy of praise.
Are you saying that you do not like others saying nice things about your stuff? Is it that our perceptions are warped and that we are wrong?
That is actually insulting for which I learned the hard way in class once. I had drawn a assignment and in my opinion it was not good, however most of my classmates enjoyed it
and were saying that I did a good job. I said to them that it was not good and not worthy of praise. That annoyed and insulted them for the reason I mentioned.
My assignment piece was not utterly horrendous and they could tell I tried really hard on it, meeting all that I needed to do minimum and more.

If someone does a good job, one says good job does one not?
Being humble, knowing that you are not the best, and not getting cocky are important and all but it is still good to accept praise when granted.
While I have not read or seen all your things, there are several which I enjoy, and I will still like them regardless of others say about them.

I don't mean it as an insult, but I am a two-bit average guy who doesn't stand out. Praise is nice. But it makes me feel too important and I can't see why it is so great. I mean people like KSLcross on FF or textwister, Exvnir, H'tee Rarpee (Glant), and Laikkuseia are great. I am average at best.

Sometimes others can see what we are not able to.
Exvnir might not see himself as that great, but we see his stuff and we enjoy it and say good job.

You have come to decision and myself mine.
I will still be looking at your stuff and say I like if I like it and if I don't I will tell you that I don't and how to possibly improve.
