It was a fantastic show! Β I believe it was derived from 'The Prisoner', an British show from the '60's (I'm nerdy and lovin it lol). Β I read a plot for season 2 online, I don't know if I could find it again though but I heard Paul Dini really wants to continue it in some way.

Yeah, I had hoped that CN would pick up another season since they left it on such a cliff hangover. I don't really know what other station would pick it up though, since it's not really a show adults would openly watch, but it's also not something little kids would completely understand either. I think the writers had multiple inspirations since I heard a few of them were also inspired by the X-men. I really did enjoy the show. It was a little cheesy at times, but that didn't make it bad.Β

I just finished reading a book entitled National Park Ranger, An American Icon by Charles R. "Butch" Farabee, Jr.. This book gives a fine account of how the National Park Service came to be what it is today. Charles served duty as a Park Ranger for many moons before finally retiring from the Service, so there is none more qualified to tell this story more than him. For anyone interested in the history and heroes of the USNPS, this book is a must read. I live next to Acadia National Park. Β My home is literally at the exit of the mainland section, and the nature is incredible. Β We have herons, eagles, and the occasional kingfisher. Β We can also see seals sunning on the beach. Β A friend of mine once found a Native American arrowhead. Β To my knowledge the closest I could compare to our unit is SERC, the Schoodic Education and Research Center.

Wow. You are in the Land of the Great White North. I was there in 1981. Best lobster I have ever eaten came from the sea near there. There is a place in Bangor called Libby's Wharf. is it still there? I thought I had dioed and gone to heaven upon enjoying a feast there.
We are still finding Native artifacts here in the Smokies.
