Hehe So, you enjoy horror eh? I myself have only seen a few classic ones, (a majority of Karloff's "Frankenstein", "The Shining", and parts of other horror films), but I've read many, (such as Frankenstein, Dracula, and Pet Sematary). What wud you consider as your fav. horror film and/or novel? Mine wud be The Shining for film, and Pet Sematary for novel.

Oh Hi!
Hmm, well i enjoy horror but i honestly haven't seen to many things sadly. The shining though, is definitely the mother of all horror/suspense films. Its wonderful classic. Other movies though, I've seen most of the Saw movies (though they are mostly just gore), I've seen After.Life which is newer one. I'll have to think of some others tonight.
I've read Frankenstein and that's about it.
Though its my goal to watch and read more horror genre.

Also, your name has Kovu in it. I give you big props for that. Lion king means a ton to me also :3

Indeed. The way I see it, modern horror films are more about the gore and grotesque, rather than the "AHHH!", (screams of terror).
Turns out, there's a diff btween terror and horror, as I've read in a book about Vlad the Impaler, (the real, historical Dracula). I'll tell you the diff, if you'd like.

As for LK, one reason I enjoy it is bcuz of its distinct resemblance to Shakespeare's 2 top tragedies, (tragic plays), in my eyes: "Hamlet" with LK1, and the sweet but saddening, "Romeo and Juliet" in LK2.

Jsyk, months ago, in May of this year, I actually made a fanfic, of my form of a retelling of LK2, with the plot basis of "Antony and Cleopatra", (another of Shakespeare's tragedies). If you'd like to read it, here's the [link] to the intro of it.
