Thank you for letting me know, but it doesn't really matter, it's who's on the inside that counts. c:
I'm sure you can agree.

yes indeed i do! but a liar is not an attribute i consider valuable in a friend.
if they were to own up to their lie, and continue to be an entertaining/valuable friend to you then that is great!

Maybe they're not comfortable with there own appearance, or they just want to be someone else. Although not being honest isn't the best way to go about making friends, it's still up to them to be truthful or not. I sure wouldn't want to show my face on the internet after making friends with a stranger. Not to say all strangers are bad, but It's best to gain trust with each other before showing ones face.
It's sort of like a secret in real life. Can't tell one unless you trust the person you're telling.
Though I don't agree with using some one else's picture, I still have an understanding to this method.

I understand why some people kill people, be it mental delusions or crime of passions. is it ever right? nope.
I realize this is an extreme comparison but it is merely food for thought, i do not excuse the behaviour.
If they're insecure, that's great- they're human. you know what normal people do? they don't grab other folks pictures.
she wouldn't have to use a fake picture, could simply say. "I don't have any" in regards to pictures. that's not eluding to their insecurity at all, therefore not having to "trust" someone. with said secret.

May I ask you what makes you so sure they're Female and not the other gender?
Also you do have a valid point, but "Normal people" don't go around judging every one by the way the look. OH WAIT they do, no wonder she/he has placed a picture that is not themselves and of some one rather "cute" or "handsome".
You may not be okay with this persons actions, along with other multiple people, but I myself couldn't give a damn.
Now I don't mean to seem rude but I'm just here to stand up for who I believe is my friend.

This person has had previous personas and deviantarts with a very similar track record. But even if that wasn't the case and I did not have prior knowledge, It's EXTREMELY easy to assume this...
Because this is the internet, and unfortunately; Teenage girls on the younger end of the spectrum it is very trendy to be gender non-conforming and label themselves as "Transgender" or "FTM" And it is a real thing that exists, and it is not something that should be trendy and worn for fun. to be a special snowflake if you will. This trend really can't be denied, it's all over deviantart and tumblr. The common trend is that it's always females or "faab" if you will, and in the 12-16 age group. (a group that is and always has been very impressionable to outgoing fads and trends over the entire course of human existence.) Also before you go and tell me you understand because you're "Pansexual", Please refrain from doing so. That does not negate the fact that this is a trend, and it's not something to be taken lightly and it needs to be treated as such.
I realize you too are young so this may not be as apparent to you, while you're in the demographic yourself. That is not being said as a demeaning statement either, just trying to preface why you may or may not take offense.
As I mentioned before, If they own up, and continue being a friend, then that is great. And defending a friend is a noble act indeed.
however if a friend lied directly to my face, i wouldn't allow it to continue. If honesty is not a virtue someone cares about it in a friendship they're not worth being friends with.
HOWEVER if the person were to apologize, and be honest from that point forward. a friendship could potentially be even stronger than a normal one.
I hope that puts things in perspective for you? And I hope the latter happens for you in regards to this friendship you've sparked.

First of all I would like to state that being "Pansexual" as you quote it, doesn't mean that I directly "Understand" this Faab you are pointing out to be some sort of trendy thing females do. Nor does being "pansexual" mean I don't. The fact that you even bothered to note that bugs me and I really suggest you don't bring that up again. I do however understand what you're getting at, as to say being someone you're not is pretty popular for girls around the certain age you have mentioned, but you really didn't have to go and say that I myself am in this whole "Internet fashion" thing. The fact I even stated I am Pansexual is due to the fact I wish to stay true to myself and others around me, but it doesn't mean I have to prove myself towards you or anyone else.
What I don't understand is why you even bother to tell me these things. Are you bored? Do you like putting people in there place?
What about my friend, why did you tell me they are not who they seem to be? Are you trying to protect me? The hell is your problem with them anyway?
There are a lot of people out there pretending to be some one there not, do you think just by letting me know who this person really is that some how you'll put a stop to this?
If so, get over it, people have been doing this for millions of years and yes they didn't even need the internet to do so.
Thank you for your time, but I do not wish to speak with you any longer, next time you wish to accuse some one for not being who they say they are, do it in privet and not on my profile page.

Like I said, I wasn't pointing it out to attack you, merely trying to explain why you may take offense as you relate and or under stand to the demographic i reffered to. I could care less about your or anyone elses sexuality. I told you I didn't mean any offense by any of the things I said, futhermore I remained calm and collected and non-abbrasive. Sorry you've taken offense despite this.
Also to clarify why I decided to note this publically is because I want her to stumble upon it, and choose to "come clean" if you will to people she allegedly cares about. She's already blocked me to conceal the "secret"
i do not hold some delusion of granduer that I can stop anyone from what they want to do. but it does save some people from being hurt in the future, yes? I want this person to have honest and meaningful friendships, when was that ever a bad thing?
Hopefully you understand and do not hold onto this false perception you've gotten from your own misunderstanding. But I respect your choice not to continue talking to me, Just as you may respect mine to further explain and then depart with a calming "Goodbye!" So good day, I do hope everything goes well for you. Feel free to hide these comments if you please, or not. Have a good one!

I due apologize for my out burst, I must have mistaken your words for something else, which I tend to do often. At any rate the simple act of trying to make some one "Come clean" doesn't quite make it a good thing, in fact it can cause stress on a person and make them hide even further into there "web of lies" so to speak. But you probably know that and continued with your plan anyway.
Of course this doesn't make you a bad person, as I can see your worry for my friend here, but it's up to them to come clean or not, even if they have stumbled upon this. And again you probably know that.
What ever their reason is to hide there face or not is all their own business, and for you to decide on what's right or wrong for them is not your task, you may think you're helping but you could be doing the exact opposite.
Let them decide who they are.
I hope you have a good day as well..
