I didn't know FSO was officially available here until I saw this. Someone's shared this picture on Facebook in an old magazine collectors'
The headline says "Among 5-door cars, Polonez is the only car in Thailand that offers you advantageous safety." I believe this print advertisement was from the early 80s.

No, except the Truck version - few examples were produced in 2003.

The underpinnings of this car go back the 60's, actually. It's the same chassis as the Polski FIAT 125p had, which on the other hand was based on chassis of FIAT 1300/1500. Besides, it didn't have any decent engine; at the end of production, the only petrol engine was the 4-cylinder 1.6 OHV unit, which was a modernization of the old 1300/1500cc 125p engine. For some time there was a 1.4 16V Rover engine available, producing decent 103 HP, and 2.0-litre 8-valve FIAT and Ford engines.

Wiesz podłoga dobra, progi niby zrobione, ale trochę do poprawek. Najgorsza część kabiny to lewe mocowanie zderzaka tylnego które ktoś urwał z kawałkiem blachy i załatał pianką montażową. Na szczęście we warsztacie gdzie brat ma praktyki powiedzieli że z przyjemnością podłubią dla odmiany w Małym Fiacie :) (Smile)

Też mi się urwało lewe mocowanie tylnego zderzaka :D (Big Grin) Tyle, że po prostu plastik pękł, do tego jeszcze "poprawiłem" kiedyś jak cofałem i nie zauważyłem słupka, teraz tak sobie wisi jak by miał zaraz odpaść

Ja kupiłem szpachlę i zderzaki z wersji ST Komfort. Teraz tylko trzeba czekać na dobrą pogodę i trochę to jakoś wyrzeźbić żeby po ludzku wyglądało =P (Razz)
