Ohhh yes! Experimenting is such a great way to widen your skills ~ I'm also trying to experiment slightly in some ways and areas I'm not familiar with and gradually pushing it further, and so far so good with the improvements~!

Yeah! Sometimes it can get a little frustrating though, but like you said that just means that you are pushing further and also getting out of your comfort zone! I'm happy to read that it has helped you out and make you improve, it has been the same for me as well! Being honest at first I was scared of experimenting, but now I'm happy that I've overcomed that fear.

Experimenting scares a lot of artists, including myself as well at first when I began to try ;^v^
I guess I’m still maybe? I don’t know what’s that’s called, but I can’t post colored sketches as finished artworks or anything less than what I’m fully capable of now, it’s hard to do and unfulfilling hehehe

Oh, I'm also unsure on how it is called, but I have heard of it. Nevertheless, I think it's very understandable! A sketch differs a lot on a finished artwork, and is true that they are quite difficult to post. In my case, I don't like posting sketches mainly because they are too rough, and I'm too lazy to clean them up   . Being honest I feel admiration for those artists who have really clean sketches.

Yeah! If we keep practising and trying our best I'm sure it will pay off at the end!

Oh yeah, I truly admire those who even use their sketches as lineart! It’s really amazing how clean their work is, I always get impressed. And I believe it’s because of their years and years and many hours of practice! It’s their hand-eye coordination thingy and muscle memory being toned at its finest.
For me personally, I invest a lot of extra time to make my sketches clean and detailed so I have an easier time doing lineart, but can never use the sketch itself even if it was with extra cleaning for an actual drawing, I really dislike it ;∀;
