# About me

I started painting with acrylics in 2009. It actually took me some time to appreciate the different mediums available, but then I started experimenting and now I would not go back to oils.

The sea has been my favourite model to beginn with and it will always hold a special place in my heart, but lately I have been moving on to other subjects and other colours and methodes.

I love photography as well, but I better leave this to others and just appreciate their work, drawing some inspiration from it. And dA is most certainly providing more inspiration as I will ever be able to transform.

Favourite style of art: Painting , especially impressionism but everything else follows pretty close

Danke für's und comment . Mal eine andere Frage: Ich kenne nicht den Unterschied zwischen einem 'declined' und 'expired' Bild. Kannst du mir helfen?

Ja, da kann ich helfen. Declined bedeutet abgelehnt. Wenn das Bild expired ist, stand es in der Liste der eingereichten Bilder und wurde weder akzeptiert noch abgelehnt sondern gar nicht angesehen. Nach einer gewissen Zeit wird es dann von der Liste gelöscht und man erhält die Nachricht, dass es expired ist.
Regenarm wäre wirklich schön - aber wenn es damit nichts wird, komme ich wenigstens zum Malen. 2 Bilder sind fast fertig. Ich habe 2 Tage Überstunden abgefeiert, da bin ich ein ganzes Stück nach vorn gekommen. Aber trotzdem - Sommer wäre mir lieber!

Ich glaube,den Sommer können wir uns abschminken. Aber du hast Recht, man ist bei diesem Wetter aktiver, wie auch immer. Vielleicht schaffe ich es 'mal in die Liebermann-Ausstellung nach Bonn. Und Kontakte mit Freunden helfen gegen nass-graue "Verstimmungen". Wieso werden manche Bilder gar nicht angesehen und dann expired?
