i don't even know what to say about that site...it's disgusting and about two of my least favorite things: "furries" and nazis.

very cool stuff, very realistic. what programs do you use, just photoshop?

Thanks.
Yeah, mainly just Photoshop... I also use a program called Lightroom, also by Adobe, it's just for correcting images but I use it to make photos darker and stuff.
I just started though... Surprisingly I am not terrible but my grasp on Photoshop still isn't that great, but not bad for just a little over a week thanks to some tutorials.
ps. I like HST.

I've had CS2 for about 6 months and I'm still getting down the basics, it is a very complex and intimidating program. You are off to a good start considering you just got it recently, i especially like the wounds on "Kristen."
what tutorials did you use, the adobe ones or third party sites?

LilyBusiness In reply to vooduex [2007-03-06 08:28:20 +0000 UTC]
I have CS2 too...
I read some tutorials on third party sites that actually had nothing to do with what I ended up doing. They just talked about, uhm, I don't even know what it's called... but how you can change the layer to like "multiply", or "linear light", those seem to be the ones I use the most. I just played with that a lot and then kind of blended everything together. It's pretty much just about being creative with layers.
These are the stock images I used on kristen:

and I used parts of this, it's also what I used on "baby"

I'm willing to try and help and answer questions and stuff, sometimes it's easier to learn things from someone who also has no idea what they're doing...
If you know how to use the pen tool and could explain that in layman's terms, that'd be awesome.. I just can't figure that out. I get real frustrated and have fits of violent mouse clicking/flailing.

i haven't really used the pen tool yet, i experimented with it, but never really got the hang of it. i just found this tutorial, cleared up a few things for me.

Thanks, that helped but I'm still pretty retarded. It's going to take a lot of practice... and I'm lazy.

yeah me too, it'll play with it for a while then wont do anything for a week or two. i have a friend who is a PS guru who could probably help out with the pen tool but he is MIA in Scotland right now and god knows when he will pop up again.

For the time being I will just resign myself to not being able to cut things out... I'll just stick to the good ol' eraser.
I wish I was MIA in Scotland right now.

i usually just use the lasso tool or magnetic lasso tool to cut stuff out. I've always had a shaky hand so i stick to the magnetic one.
