Sweet, I think forcing yourself to do that will complete your work and give you the confidence to run through 22 pages. A book can be done in 30, a couple of days for page layouts, a couple for sketches and the rest for tidying up lines.

Yup exactly, your job is just the penciler and you can grab a pre-written script and redo it. Or take an older comic and re-imagine it. Might make for an interesting project

I'm a bit of a late starter, so if art is related to my age.. i think you'll be surprised to hear I'm 34 -I should be a lot better (so I think I should be). Checking out your work, it is good so hopefully by the time you're 34, you'll be pwning mad face.

Thanks for adding me to your dW+ and I hope I don't disappoint you with my future work. Art is a good stress reliever, but sometimes trying to one-up my previous work gets stressful.

You got it Duane I really liked your piece because of it just being a polished hand drawn illustration. I thought of doing that myself but wondered if it'd not be enough against what the competition offered. I have no idea what the judges are looking for.

Anyhow, great job on yours, nice details and keep up the good work!

I'm sure the judges want full color.
Truth is I rushed this image and never got a chance to really complete it.
I had planned on coloring it.

It won't make the top 3 but it would be nice to be part of the 97 that are runners up.

you got it beta, i liked the brush style you used in making the piece and the way you laid it out. I had originally thought of making my piece red black and grey so your piece reminded me of the idea.

Of course bLak Out of the entries I have seen, I think you're like the second or third with that kind of look/style and I dig it!

I just hope you have a larger size available if you get chosen. I noticed you didn't have a download button available for a 2560x1440 size.

I got a little freaked out on mine because I had done the first paint on mine at half that size and upon resizing it to the larger size, it added 3 pixels. Thankfully though, when you reduce the image to 16pixels width it still retains it's 16:9 ration, phew.

Thanks im glad you dig it! yeah I've got a larger copy saved. I always make sure I save at my original working size and whatever the contest specs are. that way i can edit if they ask.

yeah be careful resizing. you can always shrink an image but its hard doing the opposite. always work as large as possible and shrink it later. it'll cause less stress trust me
